ABOUT
Vivian Liu is a designer based in New York and China. Her work moves between branding, typography, editorial, and fashion-driven visual concepts, often exploring how ideas can shift between structure and emotion.
Currently studying at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), she focuses on translating complex ideas into clear and tangible visual systems. Outside of design, she enjoys photography, handcraft, and tennis, and often collects small moments of inspiration—some of which eventually develop into projects.😊

NATIONAL ARCHIVES MUSEUM
This project reimagines the museum experience as a system of “reading, revealing, and interpreting.” Drawing from document structures and architectural elements such as columns, the design builds a visual language of order, hierarchy, and control. Through classification and typographic systems, it amplifies the distinct perceptions of different types of documents, establishing a clear relationship between form and information. The experience invites visitors to question what is preserved as history, and how that history is constructed and presented.
